Threading metaliteracy into translation and interpreting undergraduates’ information literacy training: A reflective active learning approach

Information competence is an essential component of translation and the basis for lifelong learning Translation Interpreting trainees. This work describes author’s updated approach to information literacy course undergraduate students implemented at Universitat Jaume I (Spain), which, due health situation generated by COVID-19 pandemic, had be taught entirely online. The article gives account how metaliteracy has been integrated as a guiding thread encourage reflection critical thinking throughout awareness its importance. students’ feedback assessment results demonstrate that significant. La competencia informacional es un componente esencial de la traductora y base del aprendizaje permanente estudiantado Traducción e Interpretación. Este trabajo describe el enfoque actualizado curso alfabetización para grado en Interpretación implementado (España), que, debido situación sanitaria generada por pandemia COVID-19, tuvo que impartirse íntegramente línea.
